St. Patrick’s Day Events near Sea Watch Resort
If you need a reason to escape the colder early spring temperatures up north and head to a warm coastal shore then a vacation to Sea Watch Resort for St. Patrick’s Day weekend may be the perfect excuse! The town lights up for this festive Irish holiday with events, live music, and lots of good food. No matter where you look there will be plenty going on from March 14th to March 17th.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration 2014
Headlined by American Idol finalist Elise Testone, the city of Myrtle Beach is putting on a full day’s worth of live music and events in downtown Myrtle Beach on Saturday March 15th. Starting at noon and running until midnight, there will be plenty of good food, fun events for both adults and children, and lots of Guinness beer available from the local shops downtown. Live concerts will run all day with Elise Testone taking the stage at night. Other bands performing include the Paul Grimshaw Band, Collison Course, Bullfrog, Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans, and Lee Travis and the Bounty Hunters. This is one party you don’t want to miss!
Broadway at the Beach St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Starting with the St. Patty's Day Family Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. and followed by the Tilted Kilt 5K run in the morning at 9 a.m., Broadway at the Beach is serving up its own St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday March 15th. Your run entry fee will get you a St.Patty's 5K t-shirt, an Irish themed breakfast buffet following the race, those 21 and over will receive a free drink ticket and stick around for live music, bagpipers and leprechauns!
St. Patrick’s Day Party at Castano’s
While most of the parties will happen over the weekend, St. Patrick’s Day isn’t officially until Monday the 17th. Castano’s will be serving up Guinness draft, authentic Irish food, to go along with prizes and events for those who attend. Located just a few miles from Sea Watch at Barefoot Landing, Castano’s will be the place to be on Monday night! Don’t forget to wear green!
