Labor Day typically marks the end of summer, so what better way to end your summer than with a trip to Myrtle Beach! These family friendly weekend events are a great way to celebrate the holiday and to make those last few summer memories.
Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival
If you're a lover of everything BBQ, the Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival is where you'll want to be this Labor Day weekend! The event will take place Friday, September 4th from 6pm-9:30pm and Saturday, September 5th from 12pm-10pm at the Horry Georgetown Technical College conference center and the surrounding area of Market Common. The admission is free for both days to watch the cook teams compete for a cash prize and you can purchase a $10 wristband to sample some of the teams' BBQ on Saturday from 12-3pm (kids 8 and under sample for free). The festival will also include live entertainment both days, a car show on Saturday from 12-4pm, arts and craft exhibitors, corn hole tournaments, food vendors, a beer and wine garden, and much more.
5th Annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine, and Spirits Festival
What better way to celebrate your Labor Day weekend than with plenty of food, drinks, and live music! This year, the festival will take place in Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach from September 4th through September 6th. The event will kick off with Chocolate Under the Moon, which will be a dessert and moonshine mixology event on Friday, the 4th. On Saturday, the Brews 'N Beach Craft Beer Event will take place where patrons can enjoy samples of craft beer from all over the country. The Grand Strand Tasting Tent will be in Celebrity Square on Sunday where you can sample wine from a variety of vendors all while snaking on hors d'oeuvres. To top it all off, live music will be performed all 3 days of the festival.
