Memories

Several years ago, my husband and my cousins husband go to talking at Church and decided they wanted some fresh seafood.  Now this is the week before Labor day weekend.  We dicide to head to Myrtle Beach.  Of coars there is the problem that we don't have a room, and it is a holiday weekend.  It is left to me to find a room.  We dicide we will probably have to settle for a low class hotel off the beach at this late date.  So I decide to call a travel agent just to see if they could help me.   And low and behold, there was this place that had just opened and they had rooms.  We got there at around 2 am.  We could not believe how beautiful this place was.  Of coarse it was still under construction. The top floor were not completed.  We could not believe our luck.  Such a nice place and very affordable.  Needless to say we spread the word, we have a large family.  And year after year we and our extended family return to the Seawatch.  And we tell everyone looking for a nice place to stay that The Seawatch is the best.  I really shouldn't tell this but I begged my husband and my cousin's husband for us to buy a condo.  We stayed in a 3 bedroom, and if memory serves me they were going for 160,000.00  We talked about it all weekend.  We were the first to stay in the unit we were in.  I begged, I want this one, lets go togeter and buy it.  We did not.  My husband has now passed, but a few years ago, my cousin's husband called after being over there for a week and said.  Do you remember when you tried to get us to buy a condo?  We made a big mistake not listening to you.  And I will never forget a few years later we were there when Princess Diana was killed.  Seawatch holds many memories for me and my family, and we hope to make many more there.
