Memories

I wanted a getaway for my birthday and was looking online for a family oriented resort.  Called the hotel and the booking rep was completely awesome.  She found us a great room and explained the amenities of the hotel.  She was thorough and friendly.  When we got there the hotel was well beyond our expectations.  Impressive Lobby! Even an ice cream bar! Kathy Jo got us checked in and explained everything to us.. even offered to put my name on their board for my birthday!  The room was very clean and comfortable.  The bed was very comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean.  The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and cups.  Even the refrigerator had an automatic icemaker.  I felt better than at home!  We went to the pools and everyone of them was very clean.  Loved the jacuzzis, specially after my long drive.  The kids loved the lazy river, could not get enough! I spent most of the day poolside.  Plenty of seating in the sun and in the shade.  The variety of pools allow for anyone even with the smallest kids to enjoy their stay.  And to finish off my relaxation I took another dip in the jacuzzi.  At night we took a stroll on the beach which is easily accesible from the hotel.  Later that night we sat at our oceanview balcony to listen to the waves.  We slept like babies that night.  We cooked breakfast in our kitchen and sat down at our dinette while we took in the ocean breeze.  Another day poolside and to finish off a great ice cream treat after we checked out.  The end of a great vacation and the beginning of a family tradition.  This was my first stay here but it will not be my last!!
